CBRE Global Investors has appointed Wouter Terhorst as head of asset management residential for the Netherlands. In this role, he is responsible for portfolio management and the operations of the Dutch residential portfolio.

Terhorst has almost 20 years’ experience in the real estate sector and in his previous position was head of retail investment management at ASR Real Estate Investment Management. In this role he was responsible for the portfolio management of a retail portfolio of €2 bn, including transactions, redevelopments and asset management.

Prior to that, he worked in various roles at ING Real Estate, including director sales Europe and asset manager residential.

'Wouter's extensive experience, track record and knowledge of the Dutch property market is a good reinforcement of our team, and I am sure he will make an important contribution to the growth ambitions of the fund,' added Oremus.

The CBRE Dutch Residential Fund is a non-listed real estate investment fund managed by CBRE Global Investors. The fund has €1.7 bn assets under management, with a significant pipeline in the Randstad. It is regarded as one of the most sustainable residential funds in Europe according to the Green Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) and is also a green star fund.
