CBRE Global Investors has appointed Marius Schöner as country manager for Germany.
CBRE Global Investors has appointed Marius Schöner as country manager for Germany.
Schöner has over 19 years' experience in real estate markets in Europe and joins from BlackRock where he worked from 2006, including his time with Macquarie Global Property Advisors (MGPA), which was acquired by BlackRock in 2013. As managing director, he built up a real estate portfolio with a focus on retail and a team of 13 people.
Prior to this, he worked on setting-up Morgan Stanley's open-ended funds business as an executive director in the fund management division.
Before going to Morgan Stanley, Schöner worked for Deka Immobilien as a director for European Acquisitions and Asset Management, where he was responsible for building and managing a real estate portfolio of €1.8 bn.
He will be based in Frankfurt.
