Rouah joins from JP Morgan where he was an executive director, and has over 17 years experience working in real estate corporate finance in London, Paris and New York.

Based in Paris, Rouah will be responsible for developing CBRE’s strategic advisory capabilities across Continental Europe, with a particular focus on M&A and other corporate finance opportunities.

He will be working closely with the established UK based team, led by Tim Ryan, as well as strengthening CBRE’s capital markets offering in France.

'We are delighted that Benjamin has joined our growing strategic advisory team,' Ryan said.
Investors are increasingly looking to access real estate in scale and buying entire platforms or businesses allows them to do this.'

Over the past two years CBRE’s strategic advisory team has advised on a number of high-profile transactions, including the creation of a £1.8 bn science and technology joint venture for Bruntwood, and most recently the €1.1bn acquisition of Northstar Realty Europe for AXA.

The team forms part of CBRE capital advisors’ wider corporate finance capability, which includes debt advisory, corporate capital markets and equity placement.
