CBRE has bought Prime Consulting, a Düsseldorf-based firm specialising in leasing, advisory and property management services for shopping centres and retail parks across Germany.
The company is led by CEO and founder Alastair Green. Apart from retailers, clients include AG Real Estate, Deka, Nuveen, URW, Patrizia, Union Investment, and Partners Group. It was set up in 1999.
He said: ‘CBRE is the global leader in commercial real estate, and we are genuinely excited about the opportunity to join their team.’
Marco Hekman, CBRE’s divisional president of advisory services in Continental Europe, noted CBRE already managed more than 290 centres in the region.
‘Alexander von Erdély, CEO, CBRE Germany, said the investment would help fulfil the ambition to be ‘the clear market leader’ in Germany for shopping centre a d retail parks leasing, consultancy and property management.
