CBRE Capital Advisors has today announced the appointment of Emily Fitzgerald as a senior director and head of transaction advisory in its EMEA loan servicing team.

Fitzgerald joins from Deutsche Pfandbriefbank in London where she was a director in the Global Workout team, specialising in the execution of global loan workout strategies to maximise loan recoveries.

She also specialised in Underwriting, including commercial mortgage loan structuring, credit analysis and deal execution. She has over 15 years’ experience in pan-European and US structured finance and is a board member of the association of property lenders.

In her new role, Fitzgerald will lead the transaction advisory team within loan aervices, responsible for leading the special situations team, CMBS and NPL special servicing across EMEA, whilst supporting overall client and business development of the group.

CBRE globally manages over $300 bn (€265 bn) of commercial real estate debt while in EMEA, CBRE’s Loan Servicing team has over £55 bn (€66 bn) of AUM and manages 675 loans across Europe. In 2021, the team onboarded £15.6 bn of new loans in Europe.
