CBRE Global Investors has appointed Hannah Marshall as the new fund manager for the CBRE UK Property Fund.
Marshall has spent eight years with CBRE Global Investors, since the company acquired Oxford Property Consultants, where she worked as an analyst in the fund of funds business.
She takes over from Matt McDonald, who leaves the company at the end of February.
CBRE launched its UK Property Fund in 2011 as a tax-efficient vehicle for UK property investors, in response to high demand from pension investors. The open-ended fund was the first to be run by an investment manager focused primarily on real estate.
The fund has a net asset value of £553.9 mln (€735 mln) and a total of 40 investors. CBRE Global Investors is an independently operated affiliate of CBRE Group with $88.6 bn (€77.4 bn) of assets under management worldwide.
