Global real estate firm CBRE has appointed Roberto Piterà as head of industrial & logistics in Italy, covering both advisory & transaction services and capital markets.
'Italy like elsewhere in Europe is seeing high demand for logistics assets,' commented Amaury Gariel, managing director of EMEA industrial & logistics at CBRE.
'Q1 2017 recorded investments worth over €100 mln, triple the value compared to the same period in 2016. Roberto is a real expert in this sector, his vast experience and global market expertise will be of real benefit to our clients in this rapidly expanding market where CBRE continues to grow its stronghold,' Gariel added.
Piterà has more than 20 years of sector experience, having joined JLL Italy in 2004 as head of logistics & industrial agency. In 2013 he assumed the role of head of logistics & industrial group for Italy, with direct responsibility for the capital markets activity within the sector. He has also worked for other logistics and industrial real estate companies, including Pirelli RE.
