Property adviser CBRE has appointed Walter Woelfler as its new head of retail for the CEE region.
Woelfer joins CBRE from listed property investor Immofinanz, where he was head of retail developments.
In his 25-year career, Woelfer has also overseen retail management and development projects throughout the CEE region and Russia.
The appointment forms part of CBRE’s drive to expand its retail business in Austria, Russia and the wider CEE region.
Commenting on the appointment, CBRE regional chairman Andreas Ridder said: ‘Walter is recognised as one of the leading experts on retail property in the region. His wealth of experience and track record will reinforce our strong retail team.’
