CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) Energy and Sustainability team has announced an exclusive new partnership with global energy consultancy McKinnon & Clarke (M&C). The agreement will enable CBRE to help purchase cost-effective electricity, gas and water, and offer invoice validation services on behalf of its clients across Europe.
M&C is Europe's largest energy buying group and provides services in over 20 countries worldwide. The company helps organisations to reduce energy costs by scrutinising the complex energy and utilities markets, recovering over-payments and buying energy in bulk at the best available market prices.
The procurement partnership is an integral part of CBRE's rapidly growing energy and sustainability consultancy service offering which is of increasing interest to the company’s corporate clients.
Matt Rowe, Head of EMEA Energy Services at CBRE, said: 'In the current economic climate, one of the principal areas of focus for companies' sustainability agendas is practical energy saving and carbon reduction solutions that deliver genuine cost-benefit advantages.
'We are already working with many of our clients to help manage their environmental performance, implement cost savings and reduce their corporate impact on the environment. M&C’s international utilities procurement capability is an important addition to our integrated energy and sustainability offering and will enable us to pass on further cost benefits to our clients.'
