Kai Mende has been appointed as the new CEO of CBRE’s advisory business in Germany with immediate effect.
He succeeds interim CEO Germany, Peter Schreppel. As planned, Schreppel is now returning to his position as head of international investment, Germany within the capital markets team at CBRE.
Mende has been managing director of CBRE’s capital markets division in Berlin since 2017. In 2019, he also took on the role of city leader in Berlin, which he will continue to fulfil alongside his new role as CEO. Mende has more than 25 years of experience in leading positions in the real estate industry and will work closely with Mark Spangenberg, COO Germany.
