The properties were purchased from Swedish property developer Billström Riemer Andersson (BRA).

The Äskatorp 4:9 and 4:26 properties are located in the Gothenburg region, close to the E6 motorway in Fjärås, a town south of Kungsbacka, Sweden.

The tenant for the newly completed Äskatorp 4:9 facility is Nordic Labtech, a developer and manufacturer of advanced lab products.

Lighting equipment manufacturer Strihl Scandinavia and functional clothing brand Seagull-Eye Logistics will rent space in the other property, Äskatorp 4:26, taking possession in Q1 2024.

Catena's regional manager in Gothenburg, Sweden, Jonas Arvidsson, said: ‘It feels great that we are able to acquire exciting tenants and several high-quality properties for our portfolio.’

Magnus Riemer, Group CEO at BRA, added: ‘We continue to do business and it's great that we continue the deepened collaboration with delivering high-quality properties.’

Both properties are certified according to BREEAM Very Good. NTS Mark is the ground contractor and BRA Teknik is the main designer for the projects.

As of 30 June 2023, Catena logistics properties had a total value of SEK 28.8 bn (€2.4 bn).
