Anders Palmgren, currently head of Catella’s corporate finance division, is returning to Genesta, the fund and investment management company he co-founded in 2003.

Palmgren will be joining Genesta as a senior director focusing on fund-raising and transactions. He will also join the company’s investment committee and board of directors. Palmgren will work directly with David Renger, head of transactions and Philip Björk, head of investor relations and business development.

His appointment will enable CEO David Neil to dedicate more time to strategy and business development.

Palmgren was one of the founders of Genesta in 2003 before leaving in 2007 to join property adviser Catella. He has been with Catella for the past six years, heading up its corporate finance division, including a pan-European property advisory operation, as well as traditional M&A and fixed income disciplines.

Genesta focuses on office, retail and logistics assets in the Nordic region and has more than 500,000 m2 in managed assets.
