A majority interest in Catella Corporate Finance, the business unit which provides investment management, asset management and portfolio advisory services, has been sold to Claudius Meyer and Torsten Hollstein. This unit has been re-named Hawk Investment Managers but will remain affiliated with the Catella Group, which retains a minority interest.
As a part of this restructuring Claudius Meyer is handing over the CEO position of Catella Property in Germany to Klaus Franken, who until now has been managing partner for Catella in Germany. Klaus Franken will be supported by managing director Christof Halwer. The headquarter remains in Berlin.
Hawk Investment Mangers, headed by Torsten Hollstein, Claudius Meyer and Ingo Schierhorn, will focus on strategic and operational real estate asset management as well as supporting the development of real estate investment portfolios including the acquisition and disposal of assets.
The business of the Catella Real Estate AG Kapitalanlagegesellschaft, a BAFin regulated capital Investment Company in Munich, headed by Dr. Andreas Kneip, remains unaffected by the changes of Catella Property in Germany. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Catella Group in Sweden and operates independently.
