Catella has appointed Emmanuel Schreder and Jesper Bo Hansen to head its corporate finance business.

'Emmanuel and Jesper provide us with leadership that will develop our product offering and our organisation. They will also set out the future direction of Corporate Finance. They are both well respected managers and strong individuals, and I personally have great confidence in them,' said Knut Pedersen, president and CEO of Catella.

The Stockholm-based firm is a financial advisor and asset manager with specialist expertise within property, fixed income and equities. Listed on the First North Premier exchange at Nasdaq Stockholm, Catella has some 500 employees in 12 countries.

Schreder has shared responsibility for Catella's French operations since 2001, when he founded it with Stéphane Guyot-Sionnest.

He has almost 30 years of experience from the property sector and has a high profile in the French and European property markets.

Jesper Bo Hansen set up Catella's corporate finance operations in Denmark in 2000, and has been responsible for these activities ever since. Jesper has worked for more than 20 years in the property sector and has extensive experience of capital market transactions in the Nordic property market.

Schreder will continue to lead the French operations together with Guyot-Sionnest, and Jesper Bo Hansen the Danish operations, in parallel with their new roles as heads of the corporate finance operations.

'The new management enables greater focus on business development and on collaboration between both geographical areas and service areas. Catella has a leading position in advisory services for the European property sector. Our aim is to win market share in both advisory services and asset management within the property sector,' Pedersen added.
