Swedish financial advisory Group Catella said on Wednesday that it has hired property veterans Timo Nurminen, Andreas Kneip and Francois Brisset to head its newly-launched property investment management business area.

Swedish financial advisory Group Catella said on Wednesday that it has hired property veterans Timo Nurminen, Andreas Kneip and Francois Brisset to head its newly-launched property investment management business area.

Nurminen, who will lead the management group, most recently held the position as acting head of Catella’s banking business and has held senior positions at Catella for more than 15 years. He will formally leave his position as CEO of Catella Bank on 1 September 2015.

Kneip is the founder of Catella’s German property fund operations which under his leadership grew to represent €2.3 bn of assets under management.

Brisset is the co-founder of the French asset management business within the property sector. He previously set up DTZ Asset Management activities in France and led the business for 15 years.

Catella set up the property investment management business area in early 2015 as part of a wider operational restructuring within the group. The business has assets under management of €3.1 bn with operations in Germany, Finland, France, Denmark and the Baltics.
