The acquisitions concluded so far this year were carried out for three residential property funds: Catella Wohnen Europa, an open-ended mutual real estate fund; a single-client fund and an open-ended special real estate fund for student accommodation.

The acquisitions were all carried out by Catella’s recently established residential team, which is headed by managing board member Xavier Jongen and has 14 employees.

Catella said a further €500 mln is to be invested by its pan-European funds by the end of next year in core European markets and ‘dynamic satellite markets’.

In total, Catella currently manages around €1.5 bn in European residential property fund mandates.
