Catalunya Caixa puts EUR 150m Spanish assets on the market

Catalunya Caixa is seeking a buyer for EUR 100-150 mln of retail assets in Spain, PropertyEU has learned.

The properties include the Parque Corredor shopping centre in Corredor del Henares in Madrid, which provides around 123,000 m² of gross rentable area over 170 shops.

In Las Palmas on the island of Gran Canaria, the Catalan savings bank has put El Muelle shopping centre on the market, which provides 60 shops, 30 restaurants, cafés and bars, an open-air disco, 11 movie theaters and a bowling alley with 14 lanes.

Catalunya Caixa has been an active seller over the past few years. It sold nearly 6,500 housing units in 2011, raising a total of EUR 1.3 bn, up 35% on the year before.
