London-based private equity real estate investment firm Castleforge Partners has expanded into the hospitality sector with the appointment of Matt Lederer from Marriott International.
Lederer joins Castleforge as hotels acquisitions director, in a move which broadens the firm's portfolio from residential and office property to hotels.
At Marriott International, the world’s biggest hotel operator, Lederer was UK development director responsible for the growth of group brands including Moxy, Residence Inn, and Courtyard by Marriott.
Since its establishment in 2010, Castleforge has invested approximately £1 bn throughout the UK and Europe.
