Spain's Grupo Inmobiliario Castellví has started the development of Phase II of the 22@Business Park project in the new business district of Barcelona. The new phase will see the development of an office complex consisting of four buildings with 46,000 m[sup]2[/sup] of total surface and 260 parking spaces.

Spain's Grupo Inmobiliario Castellví has started the development of Phase II of the 22@Business Park project in the new business district of Barcelona. The new phase will see the development of an office complex consisting of four buildings with 46,000 m2 of total surface and 260 parking spaces.

The firm is currently finalising the construction of Phase I, with the building of the new corporate headquarters of the telecommunication market regulator, Comisión del Mercado de las Telecomunicaciones (CMT) as well as the communication group Bassat Ogilvy.

The Catalan real estate developer is one of the largest property owners in the 22@ district of Barcelona, with a total of 130,000 m2 including the corporated headquarters of T-Systems and Indra in the Interface building.

Phase I of the 22@Business Park represented a total investment of EUR 185 mln, offering 41,000 m2 of office space as well as a 275-room hotel.
