Swedish property developer Castellum said two of its wholly-owned subsidiaries had started construction on two new properties in Gothenburg set to cost EUR 25 mln, and acquired four commercial properties for EUR 15 mln.

Swedish property developer Castellum said two of its wholly-owned subsidiaries had started construction on two new properties in Gothenburg set to cost EUR 25 mln, and acquired four commercial properties for EUR 15 mln.

The two new buildings are a 15,500 m2 logistics building with 1,500 m2 of office space, and a 3,400 m2 mixed-use development. Castellum said its unit Fastighets AB Briggen has acquired a 7,400 m2 warehouse/logistics property for around SEK 6.5 mln, while Aspholmen Fastigheter AB has acquired a 2,700 m2 warehouse/industrial property for around EUR 1.5 mln.

Another subsidiary, Aspholmen Fastigheter AB has acquired a 5,200 m2 office/retail property for about EUR 6 mln, and a 1,100 m2 warehouse/industrial property for approximately EUR 900,000, Castellum said. The firm has also started construction on a 2,500 m2 project with premises for the sale and service of cars. The project is expected to cost around EUR 200,000 m2.
