Swedish listed property firm Castellum has announced the sale of the Hansa shopping mall in central Malmö, Sweden's second largest city, for a price of SEK 609 mln (€67 mln).
Swedish listed property firm Castellum has announced the sale of the Hansa shopping mall in central Malmö, Sweden's second largest city, for a price of SEK 609 mln (€67 mln).
The buyer is Areim Fund II, which is managed by Stockholm-based fund manager Areim.
Areim Fund II closed in July 2013 with a capital base of SEK 2.8 bn. It has an eight-year fixed life with an investment period of three years and a total investment volume of SEK 6-7 bn.
Hansa consists of two properties offering 40,500 m2 in total including 13,700 m2 of retail space, 9,200 m2 for office use, 9,400 m2 of garage space, 5,400 m2 of residential space and 2,800 m2 of education facilities.
The change of possession will take place on October 17, 2014.
