Swedish property company Castellum announced on Wednesday that it will carry out new construction projects worth SEK 247 mln (EUR 26 mln) and it is investing SEK 152 mln (EUR 16 mln) in the acquisition of four commercial properties in Sweden.
Swedish property company Castellum announced on Wednesday that it will carry out new construction projects worth SEK 247 mln (EUR 26 mln) and it is investing SEK 152 mln (EUR 16 mln) in the acquisition of four commercial properties in Sweden.
After the signing of new leases, the company has started new construction of two properties in Gothenburg. They consist of a logistics building with a lettable area of 15,500 m2, of which 1,500 m2 office premises, and another building with a lettable area of 4,500 m2 for the sale and service of cars. Both buildings are planned to be completed at the turn of the year 2008/2009. In Örebro, the company started construction of a new 3,400 m2 office and retail complex.
Additionally, Castellum has acquired a warehouse/logistics property of 7,400 m2 for SEK 67 mln. The property is fully let and located in Helsingborg. In the surroundings of Stockholm the company has also acquired a warehouse/industrial property of 2,700 m2.
Within theTunbytorp area in Västerås, Castellum has bought an office/retail property of about 5,200 m2 for SEK 60 mln and a warehouse/industrial property of 1,100 m2.
