Mathieu Cassinis has joined real estate investor Stam Europe as the new chief investment officer of the Italian business. Since 2003 Cassinis has been general manager of transactions at Schroders, where he has been handling over EUR 1 bn of acquisitions and sales, mainly of core/core+ assets.

Mathieu Cassinis has joined real estate investor Stam Europe as the new chief investment officer of the Italian business. Since 2003 Cassinis has been general manager of transactions at Schroders, where he has been handling over EUR 1 bn of acquisitions and sales, mainly of core/core+ assets.

Cassinis started his professional career into real estate in Paris for the Archon Group where he contributed to the acquisition of real estate and non performing loan portfolios. Cassinis has a diploma from the Cattolica Economy University in Milan and a PHD in structured finance from the Paris IX-Dauphine University.

He will be supported in the Milan office by asset manager Antonio Fuoco.

Stam Europe is an independent investment and asset management structure, created in 1997 and operating in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. The company operates discretionary, closed-end real estate investments funds, with a cumulated EUR 1 bn-plus investment capacity. It also provides investment and asset management for Investors through framework agreements or individual contracts, with a cumulated EUR 2.3 bn-plus invested.
