Cargo-Partner has agreed to lease 16,000 m[sup]2[/sup] of industrial space at Prologis Park Budapest-Gyal. The logistics services group has operated in Hungary since 1994 and decided to move its headquarters and primary distribution centre in the country to the state-of-the-art Prologis facility. CB Richard Ellis acted as adviser in the transaction.
Cargo-Partner has agreed to lease 16,000 m2 of industrial space at Prologis Park Budapest-Gyal. The logistics services group has operated in Hungary since 1994 and decided to move its headquarters and primary distribution centre in the country to the state-of-the-art Prologis facility. The centre has six buildings comprising 103,000 m2 of industrial space. When completed before the end of the first half of this year the centre will have nine buildings totalling 147,000 m2 of space. Other tenants of the park include Diebold, Geodis, Nagel, Wincanton and Iron Mountain.
Prologis is the largest owner, manager and developer of distribution facilities in the world. The company operates in 118 markets in North America, Asia and Europe. Prologis has a 33% share of the industrial space market in Central Europe, making it far larger than its competitors in the region.
