Nordic private asset specialist CapMan has acquired a retail and office property in Copenhagen’s city centre for its CapMan Nordic Real Estate II fund.
Financial details were not disclosed.
The property, at Købmagergade 42, has a total leasable area of 4,300 m2 and is located in one of the main pedestrian streets in Copenhagen.
'We are very pleased with the acquisition of this unique property. As per our value-add strategy, our plan is to upgrade the property into modern high-street retail and office space,' said Peter Gill, investment director at CapMan Real Estate.
The property marks the sixteenth acquisition of the €425 mln Nordic Real Estate II fund raised in 2017. The focus of the fund is to invest mainly in office, retail and residential properties located in established submarkets of major Nordic cities.
CapMan’s current real estate volume under management is over €2.5 bn.
