Nordic private asset firm CapMan Real Estate and Swedish housing company Riksbyggen have launched a partnership for residential property management in Sweden.
According to CapMan, the collaboration creates a platform to strengthen both brands in residential property management, and offer tenants a high-quality living environment. The focus is on a safe living experience, excellent service, smart digital solutions, and long-term sustainability.
'We are very excited about the new collaboration with CapMan. It is fantastic to be able to support CapMan in their growth within the residential segment in the Swedish market,' said Alexander Karlsson, property manager at Riksbyggen.
'We are very pleased to start this collaboration with Riksbyggen,' said Magnus Berglund, head of CapMan Real Estate Sweden. 'CapMan's investment strategy includes making significant investments in residential properties in Sweden in the coming years, and therefore it is excellent that we have found a reliable partner with a proactive organisation to collaborate with.'
CapMan Residential Fund has recently acquired a property under construction in Sundbyberg, Stockholm County, comprising 289 rental apartments, with expected completion in early 2027.
The project in Ursvik, 10 km north of Stockholm city centre, also includes an underground parking garage with 85 spaces and two small commercial premises. The property will be certified according to BREEAM standards and aims to align with the EU taxonomy.
The fund has also acquired a project in Örebro, in Tamarinden, a new residential area 2 km south of central Örebro, comprising 139 apartments to be completed in the first quarter of 2025. The project has a strong sustainability profile, featuring solar energy installations and systems for rainwater recycling, and aims to achieve Miljöbyggnad certification at Silver level.
