The Capman Hotels RE fund has signed an agreement to acquire the Vanhajämerä real estate company with a property located in central Helsinki from Helsinki-listed property company Sponda.
The Capman Hotels RE fund has signed an agreement to acquire the Vanhajämerä real estate company with a property located in central Helsinki from Helsinki-listed property company Sponda.
The 5,185-m2 Vanhajämerä property is located on the corner of Albertinkatu and Lönnrotinkatu in central Helsinki and the Capman fund plans is to develop it into a hotel. The transaction is expected to be finalised by the end of January 2010.
Capman manages three real estate funds, of which Capman Real Estate I invests in commercial properties in Greater Helsinki, Capman RE II in commercial properties and property development opportunities across Finland, and Capman Hotels RE in hotel properties in the Nordic countries.
