Polish development company Capital Park has acquired the EuroCentrum, a 1.8 hectare mixed-use development site in central Warsaw that includes the 20-storey Alpha Building office tower. Colliers International advised the seller 8 Star.
EuroCentrum is a multifunctional complex that includes four office buildings totalling 52,000 m2, a four-star hotel, retail space and 800 underground parking spaces. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Separately, property advisors DTZ and Jones Lang LaSalle have announced the first tenants for the Vipol Plaza office building in Warsaw. Internet Group, a telecommunications company listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange, and CR Media, a consultancy firm providing services to advertising agencies and media houses, are to occupy 2,200 m2 on three upper floors in the building located in the Wola district of Warsaw. The property comprises 8,020 m2 of lettable area, of which 5,300 m2 is office space.
DTZ acted for the owner of the building, PZH Vipol, and Jones Lang LaSalle acted for the two tenants.
