Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed letting agent for the 77,000 m2 ‘Zeleniy Mys’ (Green Cape) shopping centre in Tyumen, Russia.

The new mall - developed by Irian - is located in an up-and-coming residential district in the north-west of the Tyumen - known as the oil capital of Russia.

When complete in Q4 2015, the centre will house more than 150 stores, with a mix of Russian and well-known international brands, as well as a hypermarket, multiplex cinema, fitness centre, entertainment zone, food court and an array of restaurants.

Cushman & Wakefield’s head of retail agency in Russia, Ekaterina Zemskaya, said: 'Tyumen is a very dynamic city with a developed economy and an active population - but it lacks quality shopping centres. The confirmation of the opening of Zeleniy Mys demonstrates the appetite of Russian and international retailers for quality shopping destinations in Tyumen.'

This is the second retail project which Cushman & Wakefield has advised on in Tyumen. The company has just completed leasing Kristal, the largest shopping and entertainment centre in the city.
