Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Jonathan Hallett as its new head of Central Europe overseeing the firm's activities in Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Romania and Slovakia.
Hallett will continue to head the firm's Czech business headquartered in Prague which he has led since 2003. He will also represent the CE region - where Cushman & Wakefield employs 400 staff - on the firm’s EMEA board.
Richard Petersen is to step down from his position as head of Cushman & Wakefield’s Polish business in June, handing over the reins to Charles Taylor. Petersen has run the Polish business, which employs 150 staff, since its inception in 1991.
Taylor has led the Hungarian business for the past 11 years and will hand over responsibility to Gergely Pados who is currently the head of office leasing in the country based in Budapest.
'The changes are in line with the firm’s strategic plan to drive growth in the region,' said Hallett. 'We are also focused on delivering a more integrated platform to enhance the service levels to our domestic and international clients.'
