Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed leasing agent for the retail park being developed as part of the Europa Centralna shopping complex near Gliwice in the Silesia region of Poland.

Europa Centralna, a regional shopping centre with a catchment area exceeding five million people, combines a shopping centre and retail park and is owned by Helical Poland. The scheme is anchored by Tesco, Media Saturn, Castorama and Jula and will open in autumn 2012.

Szymon Lukasik of C&W said the shopping gallery is already more than 70% leased and the firm is focusing on completing the line-up of tenants for the retail park 'which will be the largest retail park destination in the region'.
