Cushman & Wakefield has announced it is opening an office in Lublin to manage business in the south-eastern part of Poland.
The opening comes as a direct response to the growing occupier demand for office space, particularly in the Business Process Outsourcing, Shared Services Centres and IT sectors, the broker said.
It is the first global commercial real estate services firm to open a regional office in Lublin. C&W already has a presence in the Polish cities of Krakow, Wroclaw, Tricity, Katowice, Lódz and Poznan.
'As the BSS sector is expected to continue to grow at a rapid pace in smaller cities with a large labour pool, we intend to further expand beyond the core Polish regional cities,' commented Krzysztof Misiak, partner and head of Regional Cities, Cushman & Wakefield.
