Russian construction firm Hals-Development has leased nearly 30,000 m2 of office space in its SkyLight business centre in Moscow to local internet company Mail.Ru Group.
The deal, which was brokered by brokerage firm Cushman & Wakefield, is said to be the largest office letting transaction so far this year in the Russian capital.
Mail.Ru Group has agreed to occupy one of the two 27-storey towers of the business centre and plans to relocate after delivery of the scheme in February 2013. SkyLight provides a total of 111 000 m2 in the business district of Moscow.
'The Mail.Ru Group decision to occupy one of the towers in our business centre is a milestone event not only for the market but for the Russian business,' commented Sergey Kalinin, President of Hals-Development.
