De Groot is joining from IWG, the flexible workplace provider. During her time with IWG she has held several senior strategic leadership roles, most recently as director of Partnership Growth for Southern & Western Europe. Prior to this she spent eight years leading Dynamis, a commercial and residential real estate agency with 50 offices throughout the Netherlands.

Under Lokerse’s leadership Cushman & Wakefield has expanded its presence in the Netherlands, with an expanded range of services and diversified revenue stream. Lokerse has also been responsible for many successful new products and client solutions adopted by the firm in EMEA and globally. These include the 6 Feet Office concept which launched in the early stages of the pandemic and helped companies around the world prepare for employees’ safe return to the office.

In his new role, Lokerse will partner with the firm’s Technology & Data Solutions and Investment teams to bring forward value-adding, scalable new products that enable Cushman & Wakefield to do more for its clients. He will report to Nathaniel Robinson, Chief Investment Officer and Executive Vice President, Strategic Planning.
