Property adviser Cushman & Wakefield has recruited five office agency professionals in Frankfurt from competitor Savills.
The team will be led by Marco Mallucci and comprises Bastian Jourdan, Frederik Schmidt-Wankel, Fabian Kupczyk and Jonas Kildau. Mallucci will join C&W as a partner and be responsible for spearheading the growth of the team.
C&W, which is reportedly up for sale, said the appointments take effect from 1 June and fit in with its strategy of expanding its office leasing practice in Frankfurt as demand increases.
Mallucci has 20 years of office agency experience in Frankfurt. He began his career at Knight Frank in 1996 before moving to Catella, where he became head of office agency in 2000. He joined Savills in 2005 as director of office agency before being promoted to regional director in 2011 and becoming a member of the management board.
Commenting on the appointments, Cushman & Wakefield’s head of office agency in Germany, Martin Drummer, said: ‘Investing in our Frankfurt business is a global strategic priority for Cushman & Wakefield – and the hiring of this first-class team is a clear statement of intent to grow the business. Marco and the team bring with them many years of first-class experience in the Frankfurt office leasing market and will positively complement our existing team members.’
Denis Stern, who has been leading the Frankfurt office agency team, takes on the new role of being a central interface for global corporate clients with C&W in Germany.
