Global property adviser Cushman & Wakefield has announced the expansion of its Swedish operation with six new hires.
New members joining the capital markets team are: Fanny Leksell and Mimmi Gade (previously Handelsbanken); Simon Klinga, (previously Carnegie); Hanna Maria Nordlander (Stockholm School of Economics) and Gustaf Sällberg (Linköping University.)
In addition, Elias Söderström (Royal institute of Technology), is joining the firm's valuation & advisory team.
These latest hires follow the arrival of the eight-strong Swedish capital markets team from Catella Corporate Finance led by Anders Nordvall, who joined Cushman & Wakefield in December 2014 to bolster its capital markets presence in Sweden and the Nordic region.
Anders Nordvall, CEO of Cushman & Wakefield in Sweden, commented: 'We are anticipating large volumes of capital markets activity in Sweden and the Nordics in 2015.'
Cushman & Wakefield, which has been put up for sale by its owner, the Agnelli family's holding company Exor, reported a record gross revenue of $2.85 bn for the year to end-December 2014, up 14% on the prior year's figure of $2.5 mln. Adjusted net income increased 33.3% to a record $61.6 mln, versus $46.2 mln a year earlier.
