Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE have been appointed as co-exclusive agents to market the 166,300 m2 Vodny mixed-use complex in Moscow.

MR Group, the developer of the project, has started construction of the A-class complex which includes a 28-storey building with 61,570 m2 of offices as well as a three-level shopping centre. The mall, with a total area 50,900 m2, comprises a food-court, cinema complex, fashion gallery and parking garage.

The offices will be offered for sale in February. The project is due to complete in the second quarter of 2014.

'Vodny represents a classic redevelopment of a former manufacturing area,' said Grigoriy Dlugi, commercial real estate sales director of MR Group. 'Thanks to its distinct architecture, the Vodny complex will become the centre of urban life and business activity for this neighbourhood.'

Elena Denisova, director and head of offices at CBRE Russia, says Vodny is being built at the right moment. 'The north district of Moscow is one of the most expanding business districts in the city, due to its location and transport accessibility,' she said, adding: We see that the decentralization of the Moscow office market has boosted interest in the North district from both investors and occupiers.'

MR Group is a developer focused on Moscow, the Moscow region and Sochi. The company's development portfolio includes 20 large investment projects with a combined area of 4,7 million m2.
