Global real estate adviser Cushman & Wakefield has hired Duncan Sunter from CBRE as head of the firm’s valuation & advisory practice in Sweden.
Global real estate adviser Cushman & Wakefield has hired Duncan Sunter from CBRE as head of the firm’s valuation & advisory practice in Sweden.
His appointment will enable Cushman & Wakefield to service clients in the wider Nordic region as part of the business’ EMEA valuation & advisory group.
Sunter brings with him more than 25 years of experience in the real estate sector, 15 of which have been in the Nordics. For the last four years at CBRE he led a team of 12 valuers and prior to that he was head of valuation for the Nordics at EuroHypo Bank’s Stockholm office for seven years. Before this, he was based in Germany where he was responsible for the valuation of RheinHyp’s (Commerzbank) real estate lending portfolio in most of Northern Europe.
Sunter is the only valuer in Sweden to hold two of the highest ‘HypZert’ qualifications which are accepted by German banks. Sunter was also recently voted as one of Sweden’s top three valuers by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
