Cushman & Wakefield said on Thursday that its chairman of the Board, Carlo Barel di Sant’Albano, will oversee the firm’s operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) due to the departure of Paul Bacon per early 2013.

Cushman & Wakefield said on Thursday that its chairman of the Board, Carlo Barel di Sant’Albano, will oversee the firm’s operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) due to the departure of Paul Bacon per early 2013.

Barel di Sant’Albano has been appointed new Chief Executive Officer of C&W EMEA with effect from July 1, 2012. He has covered the position of board chairman since March last year.

Bacon, who has been CEO EMEA since 2007, will continue to serve as a member of C&W's EMEA Board and as Chair of the Boards for Italy, France, Russia and Germany until early next year. He began his long career with C&W (then Healey & Baker) in1984 and went on to found the firm’s market-leading Italian operations in 1990 and the expansion into the Central and Eastern European countries.
