Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Toby Ogden as head of London Markets.
Since joining the firm’s graduate scheme in 2006, Ogden, aged 34, has advised some of the world’s largest companies on their real estate strategies in London.
In the last three years, this includes securing new headquarters for Apple (500,000 sq ft at Battersea Power Station); Facebook (250,000 sq ft move to One Rathbone Place, W1); and Dentsu Aegis Media (recent pre-let of 312,000 sq ft at Regent’s Place). All were record deals, with the latter the largest letting in the West End in more than 20 years.
He was promoted to international partner in 2016. Prior to focusing on London he spent six years advising businesses on their estates across EMEA and APAC.
He succeeds George Roberts, recently named as the firm’s new head of UK & Ireland. Cushman & Wakefield’s London Markets division comprises occupier representation, leasing, capital markets, residential, development and healthcare teams – all operating across the capital as a whole, rather than the traditional City and West End model.
