CA Immo has sold a package of three land plots in Berlin for a total of EUR 25 mln.

In a statement on Monday, CA Immo said it sold two development areas in Lichterfelde-Süd and in the new Gleisdreieck park to Berlin-based residential property firm Groth Group for EUR 12 mln.

In the Europacity district, the company has sold a development site to transmission systems operator 50Hertz, which plans to build a new corporate headquarters to accommodate up to 600 employees on the 8,145-m2 area opposite Berlin's main station.

'These sales are an extension of our portfolio strategy. While focusing on office properties, we continue to pursue our aim of significantly reducing the proportion of development sites, which we call the land bank, in the portfolio,' said Bruno Ettenauer, CEO of CA Immo.
