The future office building will be located at the southern end of Berlin's new Europacity district, opposite the Chancellery building at the bend in the River Spree. The property will be built on the MK 7 construction site.
White & Case LLP was advised by CBRE on the letting, while DTZ provided consultancy services to Regus.
The project area for the new Europacity urban district, covering about 40 hectares, is immediately adjacent to Berlin's central railway station. The principal owners of the sites are CA Immo (about 20 ha), Deutsche Bahn (about 10 ha) and the Federal State of Berlin (about 6 ha).
CA Immo was founded in 1987 and has property assets in Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe with a total value of EUR 5.4 bn at end-September 2012.
