Austrian property firm CA Immo has hired Matthew Lunt as head of asset management Austria & CEE.

Lunt takes over responsibility for all asset management activities across the relevant countries, including leasing, tenant relations and management of the investment portfolio.

Working with the firm's teams across the region, he will be responsible for managing a portfolio totaling around € 2.6 bn of assets.

Lunt has more than 25 years experience in the CEE real estate markets, with a primary focus on asset management. Most recently he worked for Tristan Capital Partners, a London-headquartered real estate investment manager focused on Europe with over € 10 bn of assets under management.

Before joining Tristan Capital Partners, he was senior vice president at Heitman European Private Equity, responsible for portfolio management mainly in the CEE region.
