Buchanan Partnership, a joint venture between Henderson Global Investors and Land Securities, has submitted planning application to Glasgow local authority to extend the existing Buchanan Galleries mall with an additional 65,000 m[sup]2[/sup] of retail space.
Buchanan Partnership, a joint venture between Henderson Global Investors and Land Securities, has submitted planning application to Glasgow local authority to extend the existing Buchanan Galleries mall with an additional 65,000 m2 of retail space.
The new project would increase the overall size of the scheme to 120,770 m2, making it one of the largest shopping centres in the UK, the company said in a press release. The masterplan includes a new restaurant as well as a multi-storey car park, a new pedestrian bridge and a new atrium entrance.
