French development group Bouygues Construction said on Thursday it has won contracts for the development of two skyscrapers in Switzerland and Russia. The projects, worth a total of EUR 185 mln, will involve the construction of the Prime Tower west of Zurich and a residential complex in Russia. At an height of 216 metres, the Swiss skyscraper will be the highest structure in the country. The work will be carried out by a joint venture of Bouygues' Losinger unit and Karl Steiner. Construction costs are estimated at EUR 165 mln.

In Russia, Bouygues' unit Bouyguesstroï has signed a EUR 136 mln contract to develop a 215-metre high luxury residential complex in Ekaterinbourg, in the Urals region. Both projects are scheduled to be completed within three years.
