Bouygues Immobilier, the property arm of French conglomerate Bouygues, is selling the Tour Mozart office building on the outskirts of Paris to the investment company Docks Lyonnais for EUR 484 mln. The 45,500 m[sup]2[/sup] office property is due to house the head office of Bouygues Telecom from 2010.
Bouygues Immobilier, the property arm of French conglomerate Bouygues, is selling the Tour Mozart office building on the outskirts of Paris to the investment company Docks Lyonnais for EUR 484 mln. The 45,500 m2 office property is due to house the head office of Bouygues Telecom from 2010.
Situated in the heart of the new Seine Ouest district in Issy-les-Moulineaux, the property has been designed by the American architectural firm Arquitectonica. The Tour Mozart forms part of Bouygues' Seine Ouest project, The building has a number of energy-saving features including photovoltaic panels, solar captors, control systems for lighting and heating, the latest generation of double glazing and rainwater gathering systems, the company said in a statement. As a result the building consumes 50% less energy than standard offices.
This deal comes a month after the sale by Bouygues of the Meudon Technopole, the future nerve centre of Bouygues Telecom, to the German investor Commerz Grundbesitz.
