Bouwinvest Real Estate Investors has made an internal appointment of Gijs Plantinga as director strategic business development.
Plantinga is filing a spot left vacant when Marleen Bosma became chief client officer last year.
He will contribute to Bouwinvest’s strategic positioning, initiate new investment products and develop and expand alliances with national and international investors.
Following this internal move, Robert Wagenaar will take over former Planting's former role as the new director North American investments. working from the head office in Amsterdam. Bert van den Hoek remains in the New York office. Wagenaarobert was previously head of portfolio operations & transactions at Bouwinvest’s international real estate investment arm.
Wagenaar is tasked with developing strategic investment plans for the three mandates Bouwinvest manages for bpfBOUW in Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region.
