Bouwfonds European Real Estate Parking Fund has purchased its fifth car park in the UK. The transaction price came to £10 mln (EUR 11.7 mln).

Bouwfonds European Real Estate Parking Fund has purchased its fifth car park in the UK. The transaction price came to £10 mln (EUR 11.7 mln).

The acquisition involves the Addenbrooke’s University Hospital multi-storey car park in Cambridge.The car park is situated in front of the main entrance and will be operated by NCP under a 25-year lease.

The transaction brings the total fund value to EUR 157 mln. The portfolio currently comprises 17 parking facilities, located in Germany, France, Spain, Belgium and the UK.

Bouwfonds European Real Estate Parking Fund invests in parking facilities in city centres, shopping centres and other attractive locations in European cities. The fund has been specifically structured for international institutional investors. Bouwfonds European Real Estate Parking Fund is part of Bouwfonds Real Estate Investment Management. The fund is based in Luxembourg and is targeting assets worth approximately EUR 300 mln.
