Dutch investment manager Bouwfonds has acquired 226 apartments on behalf of one of its pan-European funds in Holland Park, a new housing development project located to the southeast of Amsterdam.
The portfolio is spread over two buildiungs and was sold by Holland Park's developers Snippe Projecten and Bouwaccent Vastgoedontwikkeling. The investment volume was not disclosed.
Bouwfonds said that the buying fund was part of its separate accounts business.
Holland Park is a new-build location in Diemen-Zuid, a municipality within the Greater Amsterdam Region. Since sales started early in 2015, more than 700 apartments have been sold, an average of two per working day. The project developers said that the buyers have been enthusiastic about the attractive setup of the new neighbourhood: designer apartments with enclosed gardens and located on new canals. There is a public park and other amenities nearby.
Holland Park has good accessbility to the centre of Amsterdam and the Zuidas which are only 10 minutes away by train or metro.
