BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory's Italian arm has announced the appointment of Mark Roberts as director international investment - capital markets with the task of developing and managing relationships with international institutional and private investors.

In this role, he will report to the company's CEO and head of capital markets, Stephen Coticoni.

He started his career in London in 2002 for real estate services firm Lambert Smith Hampton, where he gained a broad experience across the UK property market. In 2005, Roberts started working in the wider European investment markets, first with Morgan Stanley and then with Jones Lang LaSalle (formerly King Sturge). Between 2007 and 2013, he was based in Paris, advising international investors in France. In 2014, he joined Citi Private Bank as director of EMEA Real Estate to advise the bank’s private wealth clients on commercial real estate investment.

During his time at Citi, he had the opportunity to work on several landmark capital raises for individual co-investments, closed ended funds and club deals as well as direct deals in the UK and Europe.

Roberts is a dual French-British citizen and relocated to Milan in 2019.
